Why is lying about being an Otherkin a bad thing? Who cares if it hurts the community. People are inevitably going to do it, constantly. There will be an inevitable massive flow of liars all over this website. When a tidal wave hits, you don’t try to bring the sand bags out, you just get out of the way. I say relax and ride the waves.

I think of my identity as being a damselfly-winged bullfrog and fairy. I am also an atheist, a rationalist, and very much of a materialist. I think I am most definitely not a damselfly winged bullfrog and fairy because I see no reason why I am one, in spirit or otherwise. I still like to imagine that is my identity though. The damselfly-winged bullfrog is an old friend that has long meant more to me than many people. I don’t care whether it exists or not, and I don’t see much of a difference between someone who genuinely has the spirit of a fairy, or an elf, or a wolf, and someone who simply enjoys imagining they do. It seems like that given that we all have human bodies, the result is pretty much the same either way.

There are millions of Otherkins whose past life identity exist in there current lifetime, 1 reason is because many Otherkins don’t have identity crisis issues or species dysphoria and excersize there identity and soul in each if there lifetimes! Millions of Otherkins have been with there mates in there past lives and there current life and generally will if the Other kin and there mate are experiencing there true love or love and will care more about what is in there mates heart and soul as oppose to what’s in there pants or there genitalia!

It is true that this life is different. But remembering allows us to see (and feel) the difference between now and then, and through this, perhaps, be less angry with the world, because we come to understand that we, too, used to be that kind of bastard that pesters us today. Knowing how bad people work from within, we can be smarter about our current challenges in life. I do agree, though, that in the beginning the past life memory can totally overwhelm you. The understanding comes with time, and it is important to at least have a good friend who will pull you out of your deep, dark memories.
