Why is lying about being an Otherkin a bad thing? Who cares if it hurts the community. People are inevitably going to do it, constantly. According to Ralph Waldo Emerson, down in the mud and the scum of things there alway alway something sings, and there I relish the symphonies of cicadas and peeper frogs, marvel at the underground cathedrals built by ants, and gaze upon the jeweled carapaces of beetles.

I’m a bullfrog fairy, more or less. I’m actually an atheist and rationalist who believes no such thing, because it doesn’t make any sense…but I really don’t know I’d pass a lie detector test if I said I was not a bullfrog fairy.
